Well, the BIG Day is nearing. I’m about to hop on a flight to DC to see Nick for the first time in 5 weeks. HOW EXCITING! Note to newlyweds: I do not recommend staying apart for 5 weeks right after getting married- it kills the fun!
Notes about tomorrow, since I know a lot of you are monitoring the blog: The flag day ceremony starts at 3 PM EST/4 PM CST and lasts 1 hour. We are going out for a celebration afterwards, so I’ll put up a post on Friday night detailing where we’re going and when we’re leaving for post. Stay tuned… I’ll do my best to get it posted in an expedient manner!
