Leave it to the Swedish to come up with another innovative, kick-ass design – this time, involving the removal of boogies and other unwanted snot from a baby’s nose. No lie, this has become one of my favorite products. It’s so much more fun (and easier to clean) than a bulb aspirator (pictured below).
The Nosefrida Nasal Aspirator is really quite simple. You, the parent, suck your baby’s boogers up into the tube, where they get caught by a sponge (thank goodness, huh?!) Super simple to use and actually a fun challenge. The boogers can be a bit tricky to wrangle – I often feel like I’m in a tug of war with them. Yes, this is the extent of my stimulation as a new Mom. And yes, I just wrote a whole post about boogers. Ahhh, the joys of Motherhood!
I found this lovely demo of the product on YouTube just in case you still didn’t get the concept. If you have kiddos and don’t own one of these yet, I highly recommend you run out and get one – for their comfort (and your enjoyment)!

Too funny, we just bought one of these last weekend and LOVE it! Charlie started daycare a couple weeks ago and it took all of three days for the poor guy to pick up a runny nose and congestion so the snot sucker was key in helping us get through that. We need to get together and introduce our little ones!!
I wish I’d known about this a couple of years ago. My husband would just put his mouth directly over our babies’ noses and suck the yuck out directly and then have to spit it out. UGH! just thinking about it makes me cringe all over again. I could never sit there and watch for long.
Gross!!!
I LOVE this thing! I was so thrilled when I saw it and decided I just had to try it. It’s so satisfying seeing the goopy stuff head up the tube. I do have to say that neither of my kids like it though. At least it does the job better than the blue bulb.
I must say I am amazed and kinda grossed out at the same time! Glad there is something out there more effective than the bulb – it was like trying to shove a turkey baster in your kids nostril. Not fun.
Oh excellent, I’m glad you got one! I’ll be back in December and will email to coordinate a time to get us all together. Can’t wait to meet Charlie!
Way better than the bulb. Nia doesn’t like it either, but I’m sure it’ll grow on her over time… :)
Yeah, it looks disgusting but boy does it work!
OK, now that is really gross! EWWWWWW!
