The Moment I’ve been Waiting 73 Days For…

Wow, it’s been a long time coming…. but after 73 days of patiently waiting I FINALLY got exactly what I’d been dreaming of – a perfect lunch of Ravioli and Diet Coke!  And let me tell you, it was just as grand as I remembered.  Now the key will be to stick to the rationing plan (3 cokes a week, 1 ravioli a week).  I was weak today and already had two cokes!  Oops…

Here’s a shot of my well-traveled meal right before I took the first bite and washed it down with PURE Diet Coke – there’s nothing comparable to the acidic after-taste of DC!  Poor Norma thought I was crazy as we unpacked case after case of the stuff.  When I pulled it out of the microwave she said, “This is what you were so excited about?”  That’s okay, Norma.  You don’t have to understand my bizarre love for these two things.  Just make sure it’s on the menu at least once a week…. For those of you who think this looks appealing, here’s a topping suggestion: sprinkle it with crushed red pepper and parmesan cheese for the perfect finish!

There is NO SUBSTITUTE for Diet Coke!

Oh, and did I mention that we did get all our other things as well (in addition to the coke and ravioli)?  We are in serious need of some additional closets!  I have no idea where I’m going to put it all… more updates to come on the preparation of the home (including pictures and perhaps video).  Tomorrow’s update will finally be about our Borneo trip (it got trumped today by more important content)!

Check Sbarro at Mall of Asia, I am sure they have ravioli, as well as lasagna, baked ziti, deep dish pizza and other delights.
