One of my favorite holiday traditions is scouring Itunes for the best new holiday albums and adding my top finds to our carefully curated holiday playlist. I thought my readers should benefit from my research so here are a few of my top picks this year. Unfortunately I don’t know how to link to a specific song on itunes so you’ll just have to look them up by name if you want to buy them!
Recommendation 1: Happy Hanukkah by Walk Off the Earth ft Scott Helman (warning: highly addictive)
Recommendation 2: When You Believe by Pentatonix ft Maren Morris (the vocals are DREAMY on this one)
Recommendation 3: Christmas C’mon by Lindsey Stirling ft Becky G (actually, I’d recommend Lindsey Stirling’s entire Warmer In the Winter album)
Recommendation 4: Christmas Morning by Peter Mayer (not a 2018 release but one of my all-time faves)
So there you have it. Hope you enjoy them!
To my MN friends: Am missing MN desperately right now, so appreciate the heck out of your MN Christmas on my behalf. Tropical Christmases can’t hold a candle to a good old snowy MN Xmas with hotdish and sweaters and ice skating and hot cocoa and . . . I better stop. I’m just going to bum myself out. At least I don’t cry anymore like I did my first few years away at Xmas. That’s progress, right? :)
