So, so proud of Mr. Nicholas. Yesterday he found out that he got tenured, which essentially means he can’t get canned (unless he does something so bad he loses his security clearance). When you first join, you’re appointed for a five year term. With tenure, the time limit on the appointment is lifted so he can stay in indefinitely. Make sense? Sadly though, it also means he’s no longer eligible for overtime…
