DC got somewhere around 5 inches of snow last night and because it’s DC and they don’t deal with snow well, they closed the government and the schools for the day. We decided to take advantage of the fresh snowfall by heading out to play with our neighbors.
It was an exciting day for Nia, as she built her very first snowman!
She also tried sledding for the first time, which was another big hit. It totally warmed my heart to share some of my favorite childhood winter activities with her. Made me homesick for MN, something I haven’t felt in quite awhile…
